How we're giving back
Donating our skills is a major mood-booster. FFMG help community groups for all sorts of reasons, including giving to others and, in turn, making us feel happier and more fulfilled.
Her Heart is Australia’s only not-for-profit (NFP) focused on the prevention of women’s heart disease.
Her Heart is dear to our heart and supporting its growth has been a rewarding journey. Providing business and marketing advice and services since its launch in 2015 has enabled Her Heart to grow its community and awareness that heart disease is the biggest killer of women, killing one woman every hour more than any cancers combined.
Women In Supply Chain (WISC) aim to represent the voice of women in the supply chain; transport and logistics and make women VISIBLE.
Supply chain is a sector both Tina and Sharyn have strong connections in. Tina is passionate about increasing the visibility of women in supply chain and has been a Non-Executive Board Director since 2010.Tina also volunteers with marketing guidance and advice and supports WISC to elevate the great women in supply chain. She is also the co-author of Improving Women’s Visibility and Making Women Visible – The unseen gender in transport and logistics.
Eastern Innovation (EI) is a unique business centre that provides crucial support services to start-up small businesses in Melbourne’s east and south.
EI is an adaptable workspace where space and support are given for innovators to thrive. We are fortunate to be part of the EI community as tenant, a Non-Executive Board member and give back to the community with voluntary marketing advice and mentorship and support events as judge for the EI 6X6 pitch nights.
The Regional Tourism Awards rewards businesses that demonstrate significant achievement throughout the year, showcasing a variety of tourism products and businesses delivering outstanding service to guests in NSW.
The Regional Tourism Awards provide tourism organisations and individuals the opportunity to gain an insight into their industry, their business, achieve recognition for their success.Tina is passionate about supporting regions to grow and thrive and for businesses to be recognised for their efforts in business innovation and operational excellence. Tina has be an independent judge since 2018.
Regional Tourism Awards winners progress to the NSW Tourism Awards where they may then progress to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
The Business Excellence Awards (MBEA) provide a platform for businesses of all shapes and sizes to showcase themselves and showcase achievements.
As one of the independent panel of judges, Tina has judged the MBEA awards since 2016. She most enjoys the site visits listening to the many inspiring stories of handwork, passionate and determined business owners who work to innovate and be excellent in their business operations and marketing.
The Awards are brought to you by a joint initiative of the Bendigo Bank – Doncaster East and Templestowe Village Community Branches, four Rotary Clubs in the City of Manningham, Manningham Business and the Manningham Business Network.
